Rune-Midgard is a land filled with monsters and challenges. Outside the cities, safety is never guaranteed. And as if the usual monsters in each region weren’t enough, adventurers may now encounter an even greater threat: Champion Monsters.
Every time a monster is defeated, there is a chance that a Champion Monster of the same species will spawn on the map. Additionally, four different types of Champions may appear, each with unique characteristics and advantages.
All monsters, except Mini-Bosses and MVPs, have Champion versions.
When a Champion Monster spawns, a server-wide announcement will be made, displaying its coordinates.
Champion Monsters remain on the map for only 10 minutes. If not defeated within this time, they will disappear.
If a Champion Monster is already active on the map, another Champion of the same species and type cannot be summoned.
All Champion Monsters drop weapons and equipment with additional Random Bonuses.
The skill "Intimidate" (Snatch) cannot be used on Champion Monsters.
There are no KS (Kill Stealing) rules for Champion Monsters – they are free for all.
Furious Champions have more health, deal more damage, and grant more experience, in addition to having a higher drop rate for items.
Scout Champions unleash a war cry upon being defeated, summoning eight companions to the battlefield.
Experienced Champions carry the knowledge of a hundred generations of their species, granting 100 times more experience.
Treasure Champions are greedy and hoard a small fortune. When defeated, they drop the equivalent treasure of ten monsters.
